I am the Grandfather (Poppy) of Lilian Grace and the proud father-in-law of the author so I must confess that I have a bias in reviewing the book but I feel compelled to write a review because it just seems right. I lived this experience once as a Grandfather and now I did so again through the eyewitness of the parents. I smiled, I laughed and I wept at times as no punches were held back as it written in a self deprecating style that is as real as it can get. It is bold and uplifting and is an inspiration to fight through difficulty. “The Fight” is about having God in your corner as you go through struggles that are not of your choosing. I highly recommend this book!

This is an excellent book of Battles are never easy, and there are often so many possible outcomes. “The Fight” is a first-hand account of a mother’s perseverance through the battle for her daughter’s life. When many would throw in the towel & give up, this mother arms herself with the best armor available…the Armor of God! Her reliance on God through this journey, including the joys and heartbreaks, is inspiring. The transparency and authenticity shown by the author will no doubt be healing & uplifting to anyone struggling with loss. Highly recommend! a mother’s experience. She is a strong lady.
