What do you do when you realize God allows things to happen? Yesterday, my world was turned upside down. I felt the weight of my load I’ve been carrying for eleven years regarding this book project. Thankfully, God brought me through it.
I needed to lean on Him and know that He allows things to happen so it can be used for good somewhere else. We all make choices and experience the good and bad consequences of those decisions made. He will make good of what we go through. We must give Him time.
In time, He will make good with you as well after you have traveled down your path. Joy will come in the morning! There’s beauty even when we have a hard time finding it. Remember “weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). The fires that we go through may get too hot to handle, but it won’t consume us.
Hang on tight! God’s working, orchestrating, coordinating, and completing something special. Whatever fire you find yourself in, know that you are never alone.
I posted the song by Natalie Grant, “My Weapon” earlier today. Just His presence is our weapon. When we align ourselves with Him, our journey may not get easier. Aligning with Him allows for Him to work all things for His purpose and good of it all. Is He your weapon? Are you trying to battle all on your own?
